Administrative access & privacy

Updated 16 September 2026

What household privacy means

Account and database permissions restrict what parents and invited professionals can see. A note marked private is not shared with the other parent. These controls are different from encryption that prevents the service operator from reading data.

Privileged operational access

CoParentOS is not a zero-knowledge or end-to-end encrypted system. Privileged backend services and infrastructure administration can access stored records. We cannot truthfully promise that no engineer, administrator or service provider is technically able to read them.

Normal member access does not include those privileges. Sensitive server operations check the signed-in account and the relevant household or role; privileged credentials are not intended for browser use.

Support and data requests

Start a support request with the minimum information needed to describe the problem. Do not send passwords or access tokens. For questions about access, deletion or data handling, see our privacy policy and contact support.
