One account, separate arrangements
CoParentOS lets a parent belong to more than one co-parenting arrangement. Each arrangement has its own children, schedules, messages, expenses, documents and parenting plans. You switch between them inside the existing app.
For example, Jordan shares two children with Alex and another child with Sam. Jordan can manage both arrangements using one login. Alex sees the arrangement shared with Jordan. Sam sees their separate arrangement with Jordan. Alex and Sam do not see each other’s records just because Jordan belongs to both.
Privacy is part of the structure
The arrangement you select determines which family’s records you work with. Before entering an expense, uploading a document or sending a message, check the family selector. Private notes remain private to their author within that arrangement; “shared arrangement” does not mean every record is visible to everyone.
A new partner or step-parent does not automatically receive access. The current arrangement model supports two parent members per arrangement, not a general group for every adult in the wider family. Do not share your login to give someone a role the app does not support.
No extra arrangement fees
Your personal subscription can be used across your arrangements. If you choose a covered plan, it includes your direct co-parents in the arrangements they share with you, without an extra parent or arrangement fee.
Coverage is direct, not a chain. If Alex also has a separate arrangement with Taylor that you are not part of, your covered plan does not automatically cover that unrelated arrangement. Creating another arrangement does not start another free trial or create another subscription.
Get started with the families you already have
- Open your dashboard and select Manage arrangements beside the family selector.
- Create the separate arrangement you need, or review an invitation to join one.
- Invite the appropriate co-parent to that arrangement.
- Select that family before adding its children and records.
- Check both arrangements in turn when organising your week.
Joining another arrangement does not require leaving your original one. There is no need to move unrelated records into a shared household to make switching work.
Common questions
Does each child need a separate arrangement?
No. Children with the same co-parent can belong to the same arrangement. Separate arrangements are for separate co-parenting relationships, not a chargeable space for every child.
Can everyone see one combined family calendar?
Each arrangement keeps its own calendar. Do not assume a co-parent can see or coordinate around your commitments in another arrangement; communicate the relevant availability without sharing unrelated private details.
Is this only for newly blended families?
No. It is also useful when you already have established arrangements and want to manage them from one account. Read the practical blended-family organisation guide for a weekly starting point.
